After reading a story about the Wright Brothers creating the first airplane. We decided to try and create our own airplanes from paper. We had a contest to see whose plane flew the farthest. Eberto was our winner. They all had a blast creating and flying planes after a hard week of work and studying the Wright Brothers. The large plane was created by all students in Mrs. Schneider's Reading and English classes. This airplane will be displayed for many years to come.

The Social Studies class got in groups of three and had to create one of the four hemispheres, making sure to label all continents, important lines: equator and prime meridian, as well as oceans. They worked great and groups and had a lot of fun creating their little part of the world. (Northern Hemisphere will be posted soon).
Our Pre-Algebra class adding integers with cubes. They did a great job and had tons of fun using manipulatives to figure out adding positive and negative numbers.
